The July 28 meeting brought out 18 members as well as guests Paul and Louise Simoneaux. We were also pleased to have some visitors from the Alabama Forge Council: Bill and Sandra Williamson and Lat and Alice Dodson. We thank them for taking time to visit with us.
The Annual Election of GCBA Officers resulted in the following:
President – Chuck Robinson
Vice President – Larry House
Treasurer – Sid Gale
Co-Secretaries – Norb Delph and Ron Melancon
Librarian – Tom Walker
A vote was taken and all agreed to continue the switch to Saturday meetings till further notice. We hope this will help accommodate some of our seldom seen members.
Our usual meeting notices will be sent out by email and Ron Melancon will call those without email on record.
Iron-In-The-Hat added a few bucks to our Scholarship fund. Please continue to bring your items for this fundraiser.
